Ethan is now a little less than a month away from turning two. He's really into playing with his cars, balls, blocks, and books. Previously, he has never been very interested in watching TV, but now he asks to watch TV often. He sleeps with several stuffed animals and his blanket. He loves lining things up...his cars, especially. He loves being outside to take a walk or play in the backyard. He asks to go outside frequently.
He did not start talking at 18 months (or before) like some kids, but now his language is exploding. He says new words and phrases every day, although I cannot always decipher what he's saying. I know this is boring to anyone but me, but I wanted to record some of the things he's saying frequently these days.
Wawer = water
Nats = snacks
Wa BB = watch TV

Wawer = water
Nats = snacks
Wa BB = watch TV
Ee Bo = eat food
Ah-dide = outside
Up-a-dears = upstairs
Buppy = puppy
Dorj = George (his Curious George stuffed animal)
Dorie Boots = Dora Boots (Dora the Explorer)
Dars = cars
Map = nap
Sss-dow = sit down
Moop = milk
Mee-nah = Banana and also Mater (from Cars)
Eye-wuff-ewe = I love you
I guess that's enough. He says so many more things than that, and I love hearing him talk. I also love that he's able to communicate so much more these days. Honestly, I don't know what we did before he was a part of our family. I can't wait to see how he will be as a big brother...I think.
