This past weekend I spent Saturday ripping out our old, grungy, plastic laundry room sink and installing a new cabinet, countertop, sink and faucet. I used a power tool that I have never used before - a jigsaw - and just about every other tool in our garage, which I had used before. Casey helped me a little bit where 4 hands were required (and a few more muscles too), but for the most part, I tackled this project by myself and I am really satisfied with the results. I now have a sink I can actually keep clean, a faucet with a sprayer to aid in said sink-cleaning, a cabinet for storage and a countertop to sit things on. Besides looking better, it's way more functional than it was before. In my head, I now see these words over the blueprint of our house: "Laundry Room: optimized."

that is awesome! can you come replace my kitchen cabinets and sink?
That is incredible!! I can't believe that you did that all yourself (I guess because the thought of tackling something like that overwhelms me) I'll have to get you to teach me!!
