Rudolph's Nose

One year when I was a kid, my family was driving to Abilene to spend Christmas with my Grandparents (dad's parents). This particular year, we were driving at night on Christmas Eve. My brother and I were in the back seat together and spotted a red light in the sky off in the distance. We told my mom and dad that it must be Rudolph's nose and that Santa was obviously on his way. They agreed with us. We felt so special to have spotted, even just for a moment, evidence of Santa and his reindeer. Now knowing that it was either a plane or a light atop a radio tower doesn't matter - I still remember that night and how excited we were.

Hey! I'm glad you liked the E! party pics! It was a lot of fun. I set up a Christmas tree in my apt, one that was my grandparents when my mom was little. There's no snow here, so it never really feels like Christmas. I'm sure your house looks adorable. I can just picture it, I'm sure it's all decked out!!!
