I'm going paperless. I'm replacing my little black book with this:
This is sort of a big deal for me. I've had the little black book for years - at least since my freshman year of high school if not earlier. But, I'm ready to travel lighter. This little black smartphone will do everything my book did and more. It even has a task function that will allow me to create lists (a must, you know) and... here's the best part...I can cross out completed tasks just as if I was using a sharpie marker (and with almost as much satisfaction). I am not, however, using this phone to its full capabilities. I refuse to pay for the connectivity packages so I won't be taking my email or internet with me. But, as I've said before, I don't want to be that connected anyway. I already check my email way too much.

I wish I could do that. I have a Treo that has a calendar and a place for me to make lists, but I just have to have a had copy of a month-at-a-glance. sigh.
ok...the goofy word verification I have to type is vdjina! That's just a little too personal!
You're so brave. I'm really scared to let go of my old-fashioned, hand-written planner. But I really need to find a better and more compact method of keeping my lists and calendar. Maybe I'll be ready by Christmas.
