Poppin' Popcorn

That's what the first kicks from this little baby feel like to me. I have just recently (like in the last couple of days) begun to feel some movement in there. Popcorn popping is just the best description that I can come up with. The first time I felt it, I was sitting at my computer at work, concentrating really hard - because that's what I do all the time - and then I felt something. I wondered for a moment if it was what I thought it was. And then I sent a text message to Casey. About 60 seconds later he called me, which he never does during work. It really made me smile that he called to ask me about it immediately. I know this is such a first-time mom (and dad) thing to talk about - but everyone has to have their first time, right? And I'm enjoying it!

ooooooh, I LOVE that feeling. One of the best parts of being pregnant is feeling that little person moving around inside. Until the very end when instead of popcorn it feels like kick boxing.

That is the absolute neatest feeling ever!! I remember sitting for almost an hour just feeling the little one move around.

What a blessing!!

We are so right there with you!!

Our baby seems to really get to moving around 8 at night and I just sit on the couch and tell Daniel every time she moves. He keeps trying to catch her in the action but it has just gotten strong enough in the last two weeks for him to really feel anything.

SOOO fun!!

Just last week Jake and I both felt the baby together. Even the second time around it is still so special. It is an awesome moment with your husband.

Congratulations! It's nice to be "kicked" every once in a while to be reminded that someone's in there. What a special feeling.

That is so exciting! Chris and I used to laugh closer to the end of my pregnancy when my stomach would go crazy! Especially during church! It was so funny watching it go crazy!

I remember that I couldn't figure out if I was having stomach rumblings or feeling a kick. It is so weird now to hold the baby on your belly and feel the exact same movements, but on the outside. Have fun with all of the feelings!

Yay! It's such an exciting feeling :). I was about 19 weeks when I first felt Ashton and that's what I think it felt like or someone snapping their fingers inside my tummy. How exciting! You're going to have such a great experience when the baby starts to grow and Casey will get to feel them on your belly - it's great!
