2. Everyone avoids a road because of a previous accident and I end up getting to work early!
3. We have really great leftovers to look forward to for dinner. And I don't have to cook again.
4. Something I am going to purchase anyway is on sale and I don't find out until I get to the register.
5. I get home from work to find a package on my front door step. Packages are fun.

I agree with you on all of them. I never really thought about the check thing before - but you are right, it is really annoying when they rip! :)
