Tempur - Perfect

In another post a while back I sort of made fun of the marketing campaign for Tempur-Pedic matresses and other products. I still think it's silly to make such a big deal out of the fact that NASA developed the technology for this mattress, but today Casey and I became the proud owners of our very own queen-sized Tempur-Pedic pillows. We opted for the normal-looking pillows and not the ones with the neck roll thing. We each took a turn sleeping on the pillow to decide if we were going to keep it and get another one. Man...we both agreed that they are fabulous. Especially for side and back-sleepers like us.

We have a tempestuous history with pillows. When we first got married, we used the cheap synthetic filled pillows, which we had to replace every few months because they became so matted and beaten down. Then, we switched to the somewhat pricier down-filled pillows which are so soft and wonderful but ultimately offer no support (for those that like that in a pillow). They just don't make firm down pillows. I had always thought that the Tempur-Pedic pillows (and mattress, for that matter) seemed too firm for me. I like soft stuff, but I need my neck to be supported. But, after sleeping on it, I'm sold. They're pretty wonderful. Here's to no more aching necks and a pillow that will (hopefully) last a while. And a big round of applause for the Bed Bath and Beyond 20% off coupons. I love you guys.

Tempur-pedic is awesome...David and I will hopefully be the proud owners of a bed soon! If you have not slept on one you have not slept. That is all that needs to be said about that! Congrats on your discovery of how wonderful it can be!

Our's aren't tempur pedic, but they are made of that firm material. We have the kind that rolls or dips. We love them and I didn't know you could find them in a size larger than standard!

I have been using a TempurPedic pillow for a few years, and cannot live without it! Glad you like yours, too!
