Are You Kidding Me?

Yesterday, while I was doing laundry, I put soap in the washer, closed the lid, chose my settings and pushed start. Yep, there's something missing. No clothes. Luckily I caught it pretty quickly and didn't waste any water. Or time.

On my way home from the store today, I had a few things to drop in the mail at the post office. I had the items sitting right beside me in the passenger seat of my car so I wouldn't forget to swing by on my way home. When I pulled into our garage and went to grab my purse from the passenger seat, the envelopes were still there. We headed out again. I didn't even turn off the car.

A couple of times I've put soap, hot water and dishes in my sink to soak for a few minutes only to come back a few hours later to cold water and still dirty dishes. Maybe I'm thinking {or wishing} they'll wash themselves while I'm not looking.

I did the very same thing with mail the other day and had to turn around and go back out as well. It does this old heart good to know someone younger also did the same thing :)

Yes, it is good to know even you are suseptible to these kind of moments. Too funny. I don't even want to get started on how many silly things I do.

I hate those moments. My worst are in the mornings when I open the cabinet instead of the fridge, the pantry instead of the cabinet, and fridge instead of . . . yeah.

It happens to all of us, and I really wish it didn't!

Pregnancy permanents re-routes blood from the brain...or is that the children that do that??? (at least it is my defense!)

We don't have dishwasher, so the dishes in the sink thing happens often, and I HATE the feeling of cold water and dirty dishes with wet food remnants. Totally grosses me out.

I do stuff like this way too often! Good to know I am not the only one!
