I Like Tea Cups

For as long as I can remember my family has been drinking tea. It comes from my dad, who is a South African native. If you don't know, the English {among other nationalities} have had a heavy influence in South Africa and this includes the habit {obsession?} of drinking tea...with milk and sugar, of course. So, I don't know if my love of tea cups grew out of my familiarity with English tea time...or not. I'm not sure. But I do know that fancy tea cups thrill me. When I spent a semester in Oxford, England in college, I hit the jackpot...I found hundreds of vintage tea cups for sale on Portobello Road. And I bought a few and my mom bought me some too. Thus was born my one and only collection. Someone asked me the other day if I collect anything, to which I replied, "no." But I guess I forgot about my small, but special, tea cup collection.
