The Big ONE

A major milestone happened this Memorial Day weekend in our family. Ethan turned ONE on Monday. His birthday party was two days before on Saturday, when {many} family members turned up to help us celebrate.

I ordered Ethan's birthday shirt from Ashley Alexander Custom Boutique on Etsy. And I had a video playing on the TV without music so it could go in a continuous loop during the party. I ordered a set of three pictures of Ethan for the party favors...something I knew I could get away with since all the attendees were family members! And our good friend, Becky, made the adorable (and delicious) cake. I had some finger foods, which went faster than I thought and I'll be posting a recipe for Sandwich Sushi on the recipe blog soon. Overall the party was a blast and Casey and I were both so grateful to all of our families who came. Believe it or not, there are even more pictures on our photo site including the guest of honor with each of the party-goers.
