Did you know that if you order food "To Go" from Olive Garden and would like more than the four breadsticks they automatically give you with that order, they charge you for those extra breadsticks? Me either. But I found out this weekend and I don't like it. It has been a while since I've actually eaten inside an Olive Garden but I'm willing to bet that they don't tack on that same charge when you ask your waiter for more bread during your meal. But who knows, maybe they do.
Some new people just moved into our neighborhood last week. We saw the moving van quite a bit but never actually saw any people moving stuff when we were out. But since then, we have seen our new neighbors many times...cruising around our neighborhood in a golf cart. We find this kind of strange. Just on Saturday alone, we counted ten times that they passed our house during the day. What are they doing? If I'm dying to know, I guess I should just run outside when I see them coming and ask them.
And finally, I have found a shoe repair place to which I will absoluetly never, ever take any more shoes. I first took Casey's black pair of dress shoes a few weeks ago and when I went to pick them up at my designated time, they were not ready. So, I went back a few days later. From what we can see, they did a great job shining up his shoes and replacing the heel. So, I took his brown pair of dress shoes in next. Two weeks ago. I still don't have them back. I've been in three times to pick them up...all when I was instructed to come back...and each time I was told that they were not ready yet. Good grief, people. Are his shoes falling into some forgotten corner until I come looking for them? Get them done already! And each time they've postponed me, they never called to say that they would need more time. Seriously bad customer service. Who says they're going to have something done by a certain time and repeatedly doesn't have it done? How do they stay in business if they treat all (or even some) of their customers this way? Then again, maybe it is just me.

well, i am dying to know what they're doing, so go ahead and run on out there, ok?
That's funny about your neighbors, and SO irritating about the shoe repair place. Aaron's Brothers Framing did a similar thing to me when I went to pick up some custom framed items for work. It took them three times to actually have it ready (even though they said they were ready each time). When I went the third time to pick them up they apologized saying that most everyone that worked there during that time had been fired and our item was passed to different people each time. Hmmm...
By the way you could eat 4,000 breadsticks IN the restaurant, and never get charged anything at all. Trust me, we come close, cause that is all the kids want to eat when we go!
