I've noticed in the last 6 weeks or so how little I've taken time to do things that I really want to do. It seems like every time I cross a couple of things off my to-do list, I add 5 more things to do. I'm going to need a break from that soon. Unfortunately for me, I have trouble getting to "fun" stuff until I've gotten other (usually more pressing, but far less fun) things done. This is a recurring theme for me. But right now, I've reached a critical point at which I will not make it one more day unless I do some of these things:
1. Read the two books that have been sitting by the couch untouched for weeks now.
2. Read/look at the two $0.50 home magazines I picked up at Half Price Books two weeks ago. (Side note: I had never seen magazines at Half Price before. I went to a different one than I usually do, so maybe that is why. But the cool thing is that they are current issues).
3. Bake the fall things that I got ingredients for about three weeks ago. I'd better hurry up, because at this rate, I won't get around to baking them until it's time for holiday things.
4. Work on Ethan's baby scrapbook. I want to do this so badly but it always falls to the bottom of the priority list.
5. Give myself a pedicure. My toenails could really use it!
All that being said, recently I've spent my time doing some really worth-while things. As recently as today, I've made a sweet video for my friends. I've played and enjoyed precious time with Ethan. I've snuggled on the couch with my husband for some recorded fall shows. So, not all my time is spent in drudgery...but I think I'll go crazy if I put off those above items too much longer!

Scrapbooking falls to the bottom for me too, I think it is because it is on-going, and I replace it with things I know I can get completely done first. That is too bad though, since I am way behind!
