Oh, Nose!

Just last week, Ethan decided to start something new...sticking things up his nose. First, he started with a raisin, which I saw immediately and was able to pull out. Then, he went with another raisin, but this time he pushed it way up in there. Tweezers were necessary for the extraction. Then, it was a piece of corn at dinner. Tweezers again.

And today, while we were grocery shopping, he did it again...just when I thought we may be clear of this fascination. This time he put a piece of one of his goldfish crackers up his nose. He was sniffing and pointing to his left nostril. I looked up there (thinking...no way did he stick anything up there)...and sure enough, a piece of his cracker. And no tweezers on hand. But, thank goodness he knows how to blow his nose (very handy, by the way), and he shot the sucker out all the way across the aisle! I have GOT to get this new trend of his under control. Good grief, son.

I have pulled a few 'foreign bodies' out of ears and noses... and they are almost always done by BOYS!! Too funny!

So far, JD hasn't figured that one out yet. I'm praying that he doesn't!!

Blake touched on that fascination briefly but seems to have forgotten. Oh my, Ethan - not fun, but kind of funny.
