The other day, I realized that Ethan is half way to 4 years old. What??? So, naturally, I took him out to take some photos. This kid is funny, silly, sweet, sensitive, smart, and is one of the brightest spots in our lives. This 3rd year so far has been a year of stretching, independence, and testing boundaries...and testing my patience from time to time. But it's such a fun age too...so many new things, accomplishments, and learning. One thing I've learned is that having kids teaches you more about yourself than you ever wanted to know. Good and bad!
The day he was born and I held him in my arms for the first time, if you would have told me that I could ever love him more, I would not have believed you. But it's actually true. I love being with him and I love his personality. I love being his mom. I would totally hit "pause" on life right now if I could!

Oh my, this post made me smile! You definitely have a way with words, and Ethan is SO cute. I love the pictures of him on top of the wash tub!
