What I've Been Up To

Having not posted since last Thursday, I feel like I have neglected the blog at little. But, there has been so much going on and none of it has been at the computer. 

Friday through Sunday we were at the lake house with Casey's parents (Nonnie and Papaw). We had a great time with them. It was so relaxing and fun. There are tons of photos from the weekend, but I haven't looked at any of them yet. The boys just soak up their time with grandparents. Which is good, because on Sunday afternoon, we tagged our parents in at the lake house and went home (leaving the boys). 

So, for a little more than 2.5 days, the boys have been at the lake house with my parents (Mimi and Pop) having a blast. They may be a little spoiled now that they've had 3 days with each set of grandparents.

And I have been spoiled too. Casey and I went to a movie and out to eat twice. Just because. Well, one dinner was technically for his birthday. And I got an insane amount of stuff done, including, but not limited to:

Caulking and painting (touching up) the cabinets in my new office

Painting the back wall of my desk

Cleaning and oiling the drawer sliders on my new desk

Hanging rods for drapes in my office

Shopping (leisurely) at Home Goods and The Container Store (glorious)

Grocery shopping (alone)

Running errands (bank, gas, tailor, etc.)

Two trips to Target for random things

Cleaning out both boys' closets (clothes)

Sorting and bagging clothes for donation or sale

Cleaning out toys (perfect to do while the boys were gone)

Listing several things on Craigslist

I've hardly touched the computer since last week and I'm still in project mode. The boys came home around lunch time today and I was so happy to see them. They look even cuter than I remember! And I love that their toys here at the house are so exciting now that they haven't seen them in several days. I can just feel the photos piling up in the "unedited" folder on the server. And I'll have to get to them soon. But not just yet!
