Name that Movie

I love movies that are well written or have memorable lines. I wish there was a Trivial Pursuit game with just movie quotes. Can you guess what movies the following quotes come from?

1. Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies.

2. Have you never known the triumph of a lucky guess?

3. It's about time, Benny, my clothes are going out of style.

4. We are men of action, lies do not become us.

5. Now, first of all, if you don't mind, I'll make the rules.

6. Tell me what to say. But don't tell me what to say.

Okay, the only one I know off the top of my head is the first one... You've Got Mail, said by Meg Ryan.

By the way, we've got a couple of really fun movie themed board games. Well, one is actually the DVD movie game, Scene It. And, the other is an actual board game, but I can't remember exactly what it's called right now. LOTS of fun, though! We should get together for a game night again.

You've got mail is the first one. I have no idea on the others. I love movies but rarely do I remember lines unless I have seen the movie over and over as I have with You've Got Mail. One of my favorite all time movies.

Okay, I just reread them all again & I think #6 is from My Big Fat Greek Wedding... right? Hmmmm... I'm not positive, but it sure sounds like something either the Greek mother or aunt said.

I didn't know any of these! But I think most of my friends know that I am NOT a movie buff. The only movie I've watched over and over is the musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. For some reason, I just love that one. Are you going to provide the answers to this movie line quiz?
