Taste Buds

With Thanksgiving coming up tomorrow, I got to thinking about why people like certain foods and not others. Then I realized that my own taste buds can't make up their mind about specific foods. For example, I love to eat strawberries, but I don't really care for strawberry ice cream. And don't even think of putting a strawberry puree in a chocolate cake - that would ruin it. I also love tomatoes, but only when they're uncooked. Why do I love the smell of coffee, but can't stand the taste? I love fruit, but I don't like fruit pies. I like sweet potato chips, but not sweet potatoes any other way. What's the deal? It's a mystery, I guess. Happy Thanksgiving!
