Who knew that a kitchen gadget would be so exciting to me? Actually, if I'm totally honest with myself, I've always secretly loved browsing the kitchen gadget section. They've come up with a tool for everything it seems. I think some of them are silly, like the egg/avocado slicer, but maybe that's just because I don't slice enough eggs or avocados to make that a worth while purchase for me. But, a couple of weeks ago, I purchased a handy-dandy, super-cool kitchen tool! It's a cookie dough scooper. That's my technical term for it. I love this thing because it scoops out the perfect amount of dough (there was a smaller one, but who wants smaller cookies?) and then has the metal arm that drops it onto the cookie sheet without my fingers having to get involved in the process of removing the dough from the spoon. So cool. I can fill up a baking sheet with dough in record time now. I like to take joy in the small things, ok.

I have to say I am tempted to go get the avocado slicer b/c I slice them all the time and they are super messy. Of course the slicer is not necessary but would hopefully save some green in my finger nails. Kimber and I love avocados!! ;)
I used to have one of these (I wore it out), and you are right - SO COOL.
