Absent

So I realize that I haven't posted on my blog since last week and making our big announcement. So what have I been doing? I. Don't. Know. Feeling sick most of the time. Sleeping as much as possible. Working. Normal stuff.

I have started listening to Christmas music on the radio. I am already tired of Feliz Navidad and Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime. Overplayed. I see that I'm going to have to resort to my ipod's Christmas playlist from now on so I can get the good stuff...you know, Bing Crosby.

I am ready for Thanksgiving. Casey lives for this holiday - almost more than Christmas. It's because of the turkey. That boy loves turkey and dressing. I mean he really loves it. So, I know he's looking forward to Thanksgiving...and the fact that we'll have at least 3 turkey dinners with family again this year.

I would appreciate even a slight drop in temperature so that I might enjoy hot chocolate and turning on our fireplace for a while without sweating. Is 60s to much to ask for?

Amen! I pray tomorrow really will be 65 - This 77 today feels hot to me! I don't think the forecast was right.

Living in Salt Lake City, it's usually snowed several times by now. Yesterday it was in the mid 60's. Our ski resorts are BARE! I'm not a big fan of cold weather, but these temperatures are totally throwing me off.

I hope this first trimester is kind to you. It can be tough at times. Just do whatever you have to in order to get through the day!

Feel free to come to New England for some lovely winter weather. No snow yet, but plenty of cold weather to go around.
Sorry you're feeling so tired and yucky.
