A Revealing Day

Today the gender of our baby was revealed...

This pretty much just confirmed our earlier 12-week sonogram but we're thrilled to have the confirmation. And thrilled to be having a son! Bring on the blue! And also, we are half-way through this pregnancy. Whoa.

I may post some sonogram pictures later but our little guy was not very photogenic this morning. He is facing head-down today and had his left arm right up in front of his face so we couldn't get a good look. Little stinker! Everything physically looks great, though, and we're really thankful for that!

Yay! The next question of course, is does he have a name? Isn't it nice to officially refer to him as 'he' instead of the baby?

The unique blessing of a boy is that your name continues to another generation. Can't wait to see what you put at the front of Cooke.

What wonderful news! I'm so happy for you both. I'm sure you will love being a mom and know you will be great at it. If you never need any advice about baby boys, I'd be happy to help.
