Does this look inconspicuous to you? The USPS obviously thinks it does. But from the street it looks exactly like what it is...my front door mat draped over a package on my porch. Why did he/she think that this would draw less attention than a package just sitting by our front door? Either way, it's completely obvious it's there. This attempt at concealment did make me laugh, though.

That's too funny! I love it!
No, there's no package here. Absolutely no package. Especially not under the door mat!
Honestly, I would rather the mat be over the package--there is not much alternative!
It was even worse when I lived in an apartment and stupid UPS guys would leave stuff at my door. There it was, sitting in the breezeway. They were too lazy/unwilling to follow the correct protocol and take it to the office like they're supposed to when no one is home.
This happens at our house frequently when we get packages. I've always thought it was pretty dumb. Sometimes they leave stuff behind our potted plant which is a better hiding place, but I'm always scared I'll miss seeing it if they put it there! Silly USPS!
That is too funny! Apparently that is a common practice. FedEx left a package on my apartment doorstep at 9:00 in the morning in December. I was not happy, especially when it said 'Old Navy' all over the box. I guess I live around some honest people!?
They do that at my house too, except our UPS guy is a bit lazier and doesn't bother to cover the entire package. So our front porch ends up looking like the wind just happened to blow the welcome mat over the package.
That is too funny. Yes, might as well just leave the package exposed - it does not make a difference. :) I love the way Becky put it!
We have a pillar the UPS guy can hide ours behind which works nicely. I don't think a door mat works quite as well.
That is insane! i have never seen that before!
