Surprise Date

Since we found ourselves childless last night, Casey and I decided to take the opportunity to go out. We went out to eat at Kobe Steaks...at 8pm. Then we watched the Ranger game back home, thanks to the amazing invention of recorded TV. Even before the boy was born, an evening such as this would have been out of character for us...we don't normally go out on a "school night" and we definitely don't tend toward making last-minute plans. But, a rare opportunity necessitates a rare form of behavior!

And wonder of wonders, I was able to get the laundry (not ironing) and dishes done this morning before Ethan came home.
