We have a lot of full-sized swimming pools available to us, which we have used several times this summer, but there's something quintessential about an inflatable pool in the back yard. They are almost as ubiquitous in the summertime as popsicles and mosquitoes. So, we set one up. Along with running in the sprinklers, my brother and I used to take a dip in our inflatable pool when we were kids. And my dad got in there with us while my mom took pictures. And that scenario repeated itself in this generation as I took pictures while Ethan and Casey splashed around the other day. Despite the heat, Ethan did not warm up to the cool water immediately. But by the time they dried off, he was in full swing...running up and down the length of the pool, squealing and having a great time.

Very cute! I bet he will love it more with each time, it is just like a large bath! We have even put our smaller one in the kitchen and let them play inside in the winter when we are trying to figure out creative things to do inside...
