Super Garage Sale

My mom and I just held a super garage sale on Saturday. It was super because it was enormous...we had tons (TONS) of stuff to sell. And also because we brought in a super profit...just shy of $1500. We don't do these very often (like once every 3 or 4 years) because they are a lot of work, but when we do have a garage sale, we do it up big. That's the best way, in my opinion, because then your yield is worth the work. Although it took almost an entire day for my feet to stop throbbing, my reward was a little extra spending money (or saving money)...more than I had two days ago. AND...my closets are all cleaned out!

Due to circumstance (Casey uncharacteristically had to work), Ethan joined us at the garage sale. Despite falling and hitting his head on the pebbled drive way...twice...he did so great. I felt so sorry for his little scratch on his nose that he got from one of his falls and the pebble-shaped bruise he had on his head for a few hours. But, he played and played (with the calculator and acorns, mostly) and was such a happy kid.
