I love tomatoes, mushrooms, and Italian food. He could live in a world without all three and be perfectly happy.
We are both neat freaks and clutter-haters.
We both love to be at home and relax together.
We are nerds and embrace that about ourselves wholeheartedly.
He is naturally talented at almost all sports. I am decidedly deficient of any sports talent.
I like the blinds on the windows open. He likes them shut.
We both eat our PB&J with only the peanut butter. But he likes crunchy; I like smooth.
He stays up late. I go to bed early.
We both love Reeses Pieces, Dr. Pepper, and brownies.
I say "PJs" or "pajamas;" he says "sleep clothes."
I've been in a reflective mood lately. I don't know if it was recently celebrating 7 years of marriage, Casey's 30th birthday, or the upcoming birth of our second child that has caused it...but I've been thinking a lot about how grateful I am for a husband like Casey. A true partner and friend. It's not that we don't have our fair share of "disagreements," but it is easy to be married to him. And I don't want to take that for granted. Usually I would save such a post for a special occasion, but why not just post it now...just because?

"sleep clothes"? where the heck did he grow up? waxahatchie??
That was going to be the exact thing I said, really, "sleep clothes??" Who says that? And by the way, a world without italian food is not worth living! (and cheese, of course!)
This is a really sweet post. "Sleep Clothes" though did give me a good laugh. Never heard that one before, haha!
