DIY Valentines

Ethan and I made some simple valentines for his classmates at preschool. Since he can't quite write his name yet, I was thinking of other ways he might be able to participate in "making" them himself. So, we bought some candy and just filled up snack size baggies. Then I made a topper in photoshop and printed it on cardstock. He wanted to help me staple those on, but I mainly did that myself. Ethan really enjoyed counting out two lollipops and three hearts to put into each bag. And watching him hand one to each friend in his class at his party today was so fun!

We always make our own too. This year I cut out hearts and bought stickers and the boys colored and glued and stickered all their own Valentine's. It was a nice way to fill some "ice time" when they couldn't go run off energy...
