African Daisies I planted in containers on our patio.
Since we moved into our house I've wanted to spruce up our patio. We've done a few things here and there, but we finished it off last week and weekend. We have a new fence (about 2 years overdue), new plants, a patio-extension and furniture I've been collecting. I'm so excited because I love doing things on the patio - reading, eating, visiting - and now it's a much more inviting space to spend time in than it used to be.
Here's some before and after pictures so you can see how it's changed:

One thing I was looking forward to about being in New England, was not having to water my plants every single day, and still have then wither away in the dry Texas sun and wind, but I just found out that you have to wait until MEMORIAL DAY to plant flowers here, otherwise, you may lose them in a frost!! Isn't that crazy?
I love being outside too!
I LOVE your African daisies! I can't plant any of my Spring perennials just yet, but all of the bulbs I planted in the Fall are starting to bloom. Now that most of the inside of our house is done, we're starting to work on the deck, sun room and garden. I bet your house is so cute.
