A Day Makes All The Difference

This morning at breakfast I told Casey that I needed him to be home by 6:15 or so tonight so that I could go up to church to help with a class. He finished his bite, looked at me, and said, "you do know that it's Thursday, don't you?"

Oh. Oops. Well, now that you mention it. Yes, it IS Thursday. Being off one day truly can make a difference. I'm glad we had our little discussion this morning because it saved me from being a day late in putting out our trash and recycling carts for pick up. But I'm sorry I missed out on church last night. Especially since I was supposed to be there. I would like to say that I never do things like this...but obviously, I do.

this is funny- glad to have it documented because it's hard to believe you could forget what day it is.

I ditto Becky's sentiments; if you did not document your mistakes we probably would not even know you make them. :) Other than the fact that we know you are human. :)

Oh, well, you weren't meant to go anyway then! ;0) I get confused on days all the time!!! Jason tells me I always think it is Saturday!
